Your work and research has been deemed crucial to the survival of the human race and the perpetuation of a message which I will design which will last 10,000 years. It is for this reason you have been selected to be an Ambassador of the Why.

Since 1993, the US has been assembling diverse teams of experts to help imagine and image scenarios for communicating the storage of nuclear waste.

For more information, please see: http://www.wipp.energy.gov/picsprog/articles/wipp%20exhibit%20message%20to%2012,000%20a_d.htm

As a potential Ambassador the the Why, I am writing to invite you to our architecture studio, FREAKED, to give a short informal talk about your work and how it might relate to the content of our semester.

Rather than either the professor or, the WIPP scenarios, constituting which fields/experts are relevant to our project, each individual in our class has been asked to research and invite a guest from the Ithaca/Cornell community to visit the class as an Ambassador of the Why. I chose to invite you because I am focusing on the way we can train our bodies for survival against this radioactive age.

FREAKED meets on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, FRIDAYS from 12:30 - 4:30. We would ask for around 1.5 hours of your time to present some of your work and to have an informal discussion with the class which I will help to moderate. If interested, could you suggest a day (or two) and time which fits into your schedule. The days could be any of the Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's, between now and NOV 24. ( Except for OCT 10, OCT 13, and OCT 24).

We will be making a book together at the end of the semester. The book itself will be a marker. We would love to reflect parts of your visit in that book and represent you as one of our Ambassadors of the Why.

If you cannot make a visit but find the content interesting, could you suggest someone with whom you work or, whose work you think could substitute rather than replace you?

Looking forward to hearing from you,
yours

Tamara JamilTamara Jamilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03715372474242273618noreply@blogger.com
